Former Celebrity Apprentice contestant and current TV and film producer Nely Galan is blogging about this season's show for NBC.
Gomez never believed the smart and sexy Ms. Galan should have been fired by that creepy wack-job in the first place. We had hoped she'd rip The Donald's hairpiece off and serve it up to him with a side of mojo sauce and a shot of rum. But Gomez is used to disappointment. Without disappointment, Gomez would not have a job. Oh, wait. Gomez doesn't have a job. Moving on.
Ms. Galan's blog, it should be noted, is not disappointing at all. It is quick, funny and insightful, just like the woman who writes it. If someone blows it, she tells it like it is.
This is why Gomez believes there ought to be more Latinas on the business end of things in Hollywood. If the savvy Ms. Galan were running the show, NBC probably wouldn't be losing so much money.

When I went to the Chica Lit Writing Conference in Miami, Florida several years ago, Ms. Galan was very helpful and gracious with everyone. I thought it was wonderful that she was so willing to help out other women in an industry where competition is so fierce! Good for her!
way to flattering. wouldn't be surprised if you knew each other. i wonder if the close knit nature of the Latino cultural community prevents a blog like yours from being wholly honest.
